A scrappy underdog puppet hacks the PuppetFight TV stream to expose the lethal corporate strings pulling every faction fight, turning viral spectacle into all-out war.
Synopsis
In the hyper-curated chaos of PuppetFight TV, factions of living puppets clash nightly for ratings while dramatic recaps and auto-playlists keep viewers hooked. Behind the fullscreen fights, a shadowy network stitches together the carnage, silencing any puppeteer who questions the script. When a low-tier brawler named Stitch discovers the deaths are real and permanent, he rallies rival factions for a live rebellion that hijacks the stream itself. As the weekend deadline looms and more lethal features roll out, Stitch’s crew navigates backstage betrayals, rigged playlists, and a growing army of fan-controlled bots. Explosive arena battles collide with meta recaps that rewrite history in real time, forcing every puppet to choose between scripted glory and raw survival. The final curated event becomes an uncut revolution broadcast to billions. With fullscreen mode activated and no edits left to hide behind, the factions storm the control room in a whirlwind of felt, wire, and pyrotechnics that threatens to crash the entire network.
The story
Stitch, a disposable arena puppet, wins a minor bout only to learn his defeated opponents are permanently scrapped. He sneaks into the control booth and sees producers laughing as they queue the next lethal match.
Allied with a disgraced recap host and a rogue faction leader, Stitch leaks damning footage during prime-time fights, sparking fan mutinies and brutal counterattacks from corporate enforcers while the stream keeps auto-playing highlights of the bloodshed.
In the season finale, Stitch forces an unscripted final showdown that crashes the curation algorithms, freeing the puppets and exposing the network live, though the victory leaves the future of PuppetFight TV gloriously uncertain.

Cold open
INT. PUPPET ARENA - NIGHT Neon spotlights slam onto a felt battlefield. Two factions trade blows under roaring crowd noise. STITCH, a scrappy patchwork puppet, dodges a swinging mace. STITCH That all you got, felt-for-brains? His opponent staggers. A producer’s voice crackles through hidden speakers. PRODUCER (V.O.) Cue the finisher. Make it messy. Stitch lands the blow. The rival puppet goes limp. Instead of reset, the body is dragged off by mechanical claws. Stitch freezes. A highlight reel auto-plays overhead, already recapping his “victory.” STITCH (whispers) He’s not getting up. The arena lights cut to fullscreen live mode. End credits roll over the corpse.
Why now
Live-streamed violence and algorithm-curated reality dominate culture right now; Puppet Wars weaponizes that exact anxiety into a propulsive, funny, cathartic spectacle that lets audiences cheer the overthrow of the feed itself.
