Gamaraki

Banished to the underworld after a forbidden victory, the massive toad-like demon Gamaraki trains in the mud pits of Yomi, his croaking battle cry echoing through realms. When a portal tears open during Tokyo's sacred sumo season and ancient oni begin devouring wrestlers, Gamaraki is summoned topside by a desperate shrine maiden. Now he must master human rules of honor while unleashing devastating belly slams and poison tongue lashes against towering rivals. Allied with a brash young human sumo prodigy and haunted by his demonic past, Gamaraki fights through neon-lit dojos and rain-soaked temple rings. Betrayals mount as the true architect—a multi-headed serpent lord—prepares a final cataclysmic bout that could flood the mortal plane with yokai hordes. In the blood-soaked climax, Gamaraki must decide whether to claim the championship belt or sacrifice himself to seal the gates forever.

INT. YOMI UNDERWORLD PIT - ETERNAL NIGHT

Mud bubbles. Torches of blue flame ring a colossal stone dohyo. Thousands of oni spectators roar. At the center stands GAMARAKI, a seven-foot toad demon, slick with slime, loincloth straining over rippling muscle. Opposite him towers a horned ogre yokozuna.

OGRE
You croak your last, toad.

Gamaraki's massive tongue flicks out, tasting the air. The gong sounds. They collide in a thunderous grapple. Gamaraki slams the ogre down, belly quake sending shockwaves through the crowd. He raises a fist the size of a boulder—then hesitates. The crowd goes silent. A shimmering portal cracks open above the ring. A young woman's voice echoes from it.

Gamaraki... the world above needs a champion.

He looks up, eyes glowing. The portal pulls him skyward as the ogre dissolves into ash. Cut to black.
