Synopsis
Elena Voss inherits a sprawling estate from a mysterious aunt and begins restoring it with her husband. Strange visions soon reveal not poltergeists but fully formed versions of herself living out the roads not taken: the artist, the mother, the betrayer. As the house grows more insistent, Elena must decide which life to inhabit before they erase her entirely.
The story
Elena arrives at the estate and begins renovations, experiencing fleeting glimpses of other selves that she dismisses as stress-induced grief.
The alternate lives grow aggressive, forcing Elena to relive their traumas while her husband grows suspicious and the house itself begins rewriting her memories.
