Synopsis
When an anonymous Twitter user posts a hyper-realistic AI video of Andy Burnham and Donald Trump fist-bumping in the Oval Office, the clip detonates across every timeline and news ticker. Burnham, preparing for a quiet re-election, is suddenly branded a secret MAGA ally while Trump hails the footage as proof he’s still running the world. As both men scramble to prove the video fake, they discover it’s the opening salvo in a larger conspiracy that weaponizes deepfakes to rig elections on both sides of the Atlantic.
The story
Andy Burnham wakes to the viral clip and watches his approval ratings crater; Trump tweets that the meeting was “tremendous” and demands a sequel. Their teams race to contain the story while the mysterious creator leaks more footage.
Burnham and Trump are lured into an actual secret summit by the deepfake mastermind who now controls both their digital doubles; escalating pranks and press ambushes force the odd couple to team up against the algorithm that’s puppeteering them.
Live on global television they destroy the AI server together, then stage one last perfectly fake video proving the whole thing was a hoax, restoring order while leaving audiences unsure what was ever real.
