Synopsis
A merciless July heatwave turns Crown Heights into a pressure cooker where the power fails and temps hit 108. Inside the crumbling Wyckoff Arms, tenants from every walk of life sweat through blackouts, water shortages, and rising tempers while the slumlord plots to torch the building for insurance. As fans wheeze and secrets surface, an unlikely crew of neighbors forges a desperate plan to hijack the grid and expose the scam before the city burns them all alive.
The story

Power dies completely, violence erupts, and the residents discover the landlord's arson plot while scavenging for water and allies.

RAY Keep cool, folks! Ain't the first time the grid coughed. Door 3B cracks. Maya, 24, phone in hand, fans herself with a clipboard. MAYA Ray, the forecast just hit 109. People are gonna die in here. RAY Then we don't open the windows, we open our damn minds. Now help me drag that hose before the super's meter spins us dry. A baby wails. Somewhere, a radio reports another blackout. Ray's eyes harden. He knows this heat ain't natural.
