Synopsis
Elena Voss arrives in the perpetually fog-shrouded town of Cairn's End seeking a fresh start, only to discover the mist is no natural phenomenon—it strips residents of memories day by day, turning neighbors into blank-eyed strangers. As her own recollections begin to fray at the edges, Elena pieces together that the fog feeds on a decades-old collective secret buried beneath the lighthouse. With the town spiraling into violence and despair, she must decide whether to flee with her remaining sanity or confront the source that could either save or erase them all.
The story
