A bumbling calico cat and his rookie human handler must stop a crab-clawed alien invasion before their own malfunctioning transformation suits shut them down for good.
Synopsis
In a retro-futuristic Tokyo that never left the Showa era, the CAT Force protects Earth from goofy extraterrestrial threats using transformable feline-powered mechs. When a dim-witted starman from the Crab Claw Fry Planet lands with a plan to turn all humans into tempura, only the lazy stray Kijitora Nyan-ta and his by-the-book handler Momoko can stop him. Their suits have a fatal flaw: they can only stay active for three minutes at a time, forcing them to fight in frantic, hilarious bursts. As the alien's claws multiply and the city fills with sizzling seafood soldiers, Nyan-ta must overcome his nap-loving nature while Momoko learns to trust her feline partner. Their bond turns the tide in a final three-minute showdown atop a giant floating fryer. Blending practical suit effects with over-the-top rubber monsters, the film celebrates the joyful absurdity of classic Japanese sci-fi while delivering heartfelt laughs about found family and making the most of limited time.
The story
Nyan-ta, a scruffy calico stray, is recruited into the CAT Force after accidentally foiling an alien scout. He meets rookie agent Momoko; their first mission reveals the Crab Claw Fry Starman's arrival and the suits' three-minute limit.
The alien escalates, transforming Tokyo landmarks into deep-fryers and spawning an army of crunchy soldiers. Nyan-ta and Momoko clash over strategy, nearly failing when their suits time out mid-battle, forcing them to improvise as ordinary cat and girl.
In the climactic three-minute finale they combine powers, turning the alien's own fryer against him. Victory cements their partnership as Nyan-ta chooses duty over endless naps, hinting at future holiday specials.

MYSTERIOUS MAN (robotic, stiff) Earthling feline. Surrender your nine lives to the Fry Collective. Nyan-ta yawns, unimpressed. The man’s coat splits open—two massive CRAB CLAWS snap out. Nyan-ta bolts. The claws fire sizzling oil blasts that turn trash cans into tempura. Suddenly a young woman, MOMOKO, drops from a fire escape in a silver jumpsuit. MOMOKO CAT Force, activate! Nyan-ta—transform! Nyan-ta leaps into her arms. Their suits spark and glow, but a timer on Momoko’s wrist beeps: 03:00. MOMOKO (CONT'D) Three minutes. Make it count!
