A Tokyo illustrator's hyper-real dreams begin leaking into waking life, forcing her to confront a doppelganger who is rewriting her memories before they erase her entirely.
Synopsis
In neon-drenched Tokyo, illustrator Aiko Sato wakes each morning with vivid sketches she doesn't remember drawing—scenes of her future that come true hours later. When the images turn violent and a stranger appears in them wearing her face, Aiko realizes her dreams are not predictions but invasions from an alternate self determined to take her place. Racing through collapsing timelines, she must descend into the shared dreamscape to destroy the intruder before her entire existence is overwritten.
The story
Aiko's routine life fractures as her dream sketches begin manifesting in reality, culminating in the first appearance of her doppelganger on a crowded subway platform.
Aiko allies with a skeptical sleep researcher and navigates labyrinthine dream layers where memories are auctioned and rewritten, while the doppelganger systematically erases her relationships and identity.
In a final recursive dream duel inside a looping Tokyo skyline, Aiko sacrifices her most cherished memory to trap the doppelganger, awakening to a subtly altered world where only she remembers the truth.

Cold open
INT. TOKYO APARTMENT - NIGHT Rain streaks the window. AIKO SATO, 32, sits at her drafting table in an oversized shirt, charcoal in hand. She sketches furiously, eyes half-closed. On the page: a subway car, passengers frozen, a woman with Aiko's exact face smiling from the reflection. She stops. The sketch is finished, yet she doesn't recall starting it. The clock reads 3:17 AM. Outside, a train horn wails. Aiko stares at the drawing, then at her own faint reflection in the glass. AIKO (whispering) Who are you drawing me? The reflection smiles back a half-second late.
Why now
Audiences craving escape from algorithmic feeds and fractured attention are starving for stories that reclaim the private theater of the mind, making a film about weaponized dreams feel like both catharsis and warning.
