Eyes on the Road
A lone driver glides a vintage convertible along an empty sunset coast, the unbroken rhythm of wind and score unearthing buried regrets before the city skyline swallows him whole.

Synopsis
Jordan Hale speeds away from a collapsed life in his battered convertible, the camera fused to the hood as pink-orange skies bleed into endless palms. Memories surface in the scarf snapping from the window—Elena’s voice, Marcus’s warning, the deal gone wrong—yet the road offers no answers, only motion. As shoreline yields to distant towers, Jordan must decide whether to vanish into the lights or turn back toward the ghosts he fled. Intercut fragments reveal the heist that cost him everything and the quiet love he abandoned. The score pulses like tires on asphalt, guiding him through golden-hour catharsis. No chatter breaks the spell; the journey itself becomes confession and escape. By the time the skyline rises, Jordan has shed the past mile by mile, arriving not at a destination but at a fragile peace found only in forward motion.
The story
Jordan starts the drive at golden hour, scarf trailing, city shrinking in the mirror as the score builds. Flashbacks tease the betrayal that forced him onto the road.
Shadows lengthen, memories intensify—encounters at roadside stops and inner confrontations with Elena and Marcus push him toward collapse or clarity.
City towers loom; Jordan chooses the bridge instead of the exit, scarf finally still as the score resolves into quiet acceptance of a new, unknown horizon.

EXT. PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY - SUNSET A vintage convertible tears along the empty two-lane, top down. Pink-orange light floods the windshield. JORDAN HALE, 30s, jaw set, dark scarf snapping from the passenger window like a flag. RADIO (crackling) You still listening, Jordan? Jordan doesn’t answer. Wind roars. The camera stays locked forward—palm shadows slicing across asphalt, ocean glittering below. JORDAN (to himself) Just keep the wheel straight. The scarf lifts higher, catching the last light. City towers shimmer on the horizon. The engine never downshifts. The score swells, pure motion and memory.
Why now
Audiences exhausted by screens and endless notifications are starving for pure cinematic escape—an analog, dialogue-light hymn to solitary motion that feels like a collective exhale after years of lockdown stasis and digital overload.
